We sailed on the Royal Caribbean Anthem of the Seas from Southampton, England, to four ports in Norway!
1. Haugesund
2. Geiranger
3. Olden
4. Bergen
Haugesund was a cute little town where we did a Hop on Hop Off bus for sightseeing
Geirangerfjord was absolutely breathtaking! We did a RIB boat tour and got to see the Fjords and waterfalls up even closer. We also hiked to Flydalsjuvet which offered an amazing viewpoint of our cruise ship in port surrounded by the massive Fjords.
Olden was beautiful. We took a scenic bus tour that brought us further inland where we hiked to the Briksdalbreen Glacier. The glacier was a stunning sight to see, with a gorgeous canyon and crystal clear water at the base!
Bergen was the largest city of the four stops we made. We took the vernacular up to Mount Floyen, and luckily it was a pretty clear day so we got to see great views of the city. We also walked along the harbor at Bryggen and visited cute little shops and the fish market!
Our trip was in May 2023. We had great weather and definitely would recommend this itinerary! The cruise is a phenomenal way to experience the wonders of the Norwegian Fjords.
