Let's start off the video with a quick ride of a 1980s Thyssen escalator, which looks very similar to the one I filmed in Ålesund except that it is entirely aluminum instead of brass. There is another escalator that goes between the basement and ground floor but it's now derelict (notice the mannequin blocking it).

The elevator is a DEVE Schindler from Sweden, which was manufactured sometime after Swedish elevator manufacturer DEVE merged with Schindler in the late 1980s. The shape of the button panel and the keyswitches are very obvious that this is a DEVE. Almost everything in this elevator are from DEVE except the doors which are from Schindler and appear to be the QKS type. The only disappointing thing here is that sadly all the buttons have been replaced with stupid DMG buttons; I would've loved to see at least one original DEVE elevator with their very distinctive TKID wedged buttons! (Edit: I did find two original DEVE in Tromsø). But anyway, this was my first time ever riding a DEVE elevator.
