I find it hard to do bird photography in the winter. With shorter days and lesser birds. But I did get a day out, and came a cross a dipper in a river covered with ice and snow. So it was perfect to take my nikon Z9 and my nikon 600mm f4 and spend some hours at the river.
It was so much fun to experiment with slower shutter speed to get some movement in the water but still freezing the bird.
