1. From a young age, I aspired to be a professional goalkeeper. I dreamed of playing for Newcastle United while living in Stavanger, Norway. I idolized Peter Schmeichel and imagined making saves in front of crowds, winning trophies, and having football as my career. Watching Manchester United's treble-winning season from 1998-1999 fueled my passion. I envisioned playing in big stadiums, including the World Cup and Champions League finals, in my parents' garden or at the local pitch. The Champions League anthem gave me goosebumps and solidified my career choice.

2. I understood early on that pursuing my dream would require sacrifices. I created a list outlining my diet, training regimen, and sleep schedule. While my friends began partying, I abstained, opting for water and leaving early to prioritize training or games. My last family vacation was at age 14 when I had to return home for training after being selected for the Norway U15's. It was a bittersweet departure, with my mom in tears.

3. I am fortunate to have incredibly supportive parents who have always encouraged my dream. I had exceptional coaches, including parents at my first club Øyane, who served as role models and created a nurturing yet challenging environment. Kurt Hegre, the goalkeeper coach of Viking FK Stavanger, scouted me at a young age and provided me with a strong foundation in goalkeeping. I pride myself on being reliable by consistently executing the basics at a high level over time.
