After exploring Stavanger (part 6) we followed the coastal roads to Kristiansand. Just south of Stavanger you find sandy beaches and creeks and rivers that flow into the sea. Further south the terrain gets rocky and hilly with greeneries, ponds and little lakes.
The Fv 33 is a motorbikers gem. It takes you through magnificent nature, with scenic views of the sea with hidden bays and small remote fishing villages. The road is very narrow. It goes up and down and has sharp hairpins. Bike experience and good skills are required. This is no rookie road!
We spend some time in the town of Flekkefjord. The center of the town is the channel that connects the sea to the fjord more inland. Enjoy the traffic on the water, the white wooden houses and the laidback atmosphere.
The last day we travelled the backroads to Kristiansand. From there we took the ferry to Emden, Germany.
Two guys on their BMW's, travelling the backroads. Via a scenic route the the road trip passes fjords, mountains and lakes. The footage shows the route and the magnificent scenery along the way, including the old town of Stavanger.
