The 1,330 km (830 mi) long European route E39 runs across Norway and Denmark from Klett, a small town south of Trondheim, to Aalborg through Bergen, Stavanger, and Kristiansand. There are nine ferries in all, more than on any other route in Europe.
There are links to the E6 and the E14 in Trondheim. To E136 in Lesund, E16 in Bergen, E134 in Haugesund, E18 in Kristiansand, and E45 in Aalborg.
