Planespotting at Oslo Gardermoen Airport, May. 25th. 2023

It’s another Thursday afternoon that went to evening of planespotting at my local airport that’s just 30 minutes away from home, and that airport is also Norway’s biggest airport so we get really much traffic and sometimes something rare.

Today I headed out to catch the newest aircraft Sunclass has leased to fly for them, and that is an A330-900NEO originally owned by Iberojet, which is the third A330NEO I have seen here at Oslo and in my entire life. The other two I’ve seen is HiFly two times right before Christmas back in 2021 and TAP Air Portugal last summer.

It was also quite windy today so many aircrafts floated pretty far before touching down and one SASA321 even had to do a go around to try again and touch down in the landing zone, and on second attempt it made it.

Today I was only standing in one spot and that’s my favorite spot and easiest to get to without car, down by 01R where I can see both arrivals and departures pretty up close.

On Thursday two weeks ago Air Premia had their inaugural flight from Seoul Incheon to Oslo but then it was pretty grey weather so today I spotted it again and in the hour of the golden!

This morning an airline going by the name AirSerbia had some issues on their morning flight scheduled to leave at 10:00PM this morning so I got a little lucky I guess but not then because due to that issue they had a 6 hour delay which gave me a chance to spot it, I have only spotted it three or four times in my life and that was 2 years ago when I used to record with my crappy iPad so I’m pretty lucky I got that today.
