Nokas is a 2010 Norwegian heist film directed by Erik Skjoldbjærg. The film portrays the real-life NOKAS robbery that took place in Stavanger, Norway in 2004. The robbery was the largest in Norwegian history, and resulted in the death of a police officer.
A gang of 11 men armed with automatic weapons and explosives stormed the cash center and stole 57 million Norwegian kroner (approximately $10 million at the time).
The robbers were eventually caught and convicted.
