In this episode our journey back home begins. We enjoy the road and we have some amazing experience with wild camping and food but we know that this is our journey back. It feels as if our trip is coming to an end but truly we are just half way through and 6000 more kilometers are waiting ahead of us.

Finland is a superb country. The north is very wild and you should definitely spend your time here trying to take in as much as possible. Driving through the north makes you feel relaxed as there is not much to see but at the same time the wild atmosphere makes you forget about the busy world that you have left behind. There are thousands of lakes and wild camping in the north can be a lot of fun. In the south every inch of land is owned and wild camping is not an option.
The main roads are very straight and both sides are covered with trees. This becomes evident as soon as you pass the border between Norway and Finland. The first km are very interesting as a straight stretch of road is cutting through the threes and goes over the hills as you would see in some American movies. This becomes boring quite fast so plug your headphones in and enjoy your ride across this wild territory.
