A lot of surfers struggle to get their wave count up and might catch one wave every 15- 20 minutes. If you want to progress in your surfing, have more fun and get fitter, then the answer is to catch more waves. The main thing that will help with this is to be in the correct position in the lineup. I'm sure you have either been to deep or too wide, too far out or too close to shore. Or maybe the current or wind has surprised you and moved you out of position. The solution is to find land markers or reference points to stay in position for the waves you want.
