Prof. Milica Savić was a plenary speaker at the conference “Teaching Languages and Cultures in the Post-Method Era: New Insights and Innovations 2023” (TLC2023), held on 6-7 October 2023 at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš.
Prof. Milica Savić is a Full Professor of English at the Department of Education and Sports Science, Faculty of Arts and Education, University of Stavanger (Norway) and a Niš English Department alumna. In this interview she talks about why developing pragmatic competence in young learners is important, if and how it is influenced by children’s L1 use and their exposure to adults’ use of both L1 and L2, and what this means for language teaching.
