Waking up to breathtaking views - Norway

My third project for @thescout_sleep was at the stunning The Bolder, with breathtaking views over Lysefjord. It's about a 45min drive away from Stavanger, southwest Norway.

I had the chance to film the biggest lodge with my drone, which made it a bit easier to fly. But it's still challenging when space is tight.
It was cloudy and rainy the whole day, which made it a bit more complicated but also led to a nice, mystical atmosphere.

To the cabins:
The Bolder lodges sit high above the Lysefjord, one of Norway's most spectacular fjords. The view from up there is just amazing! As I mentioned above and you can see in the video, it was mainly raining that day and so the view was probably not the best. But I’m sure, if you stay here for a full day or even longer, you will be busy with taking photos, when the mood and thus the view changes all the time. I only stayed for a “day visit” to film and couldn’t get enough of this incredible view!

The Bolder offers three different sizes of lodges, with the Sky Lodges being the smallest one, the medium sized Star Lodges and the biggest one the Grand Lodge, shown in this video. If you want to see inside all of them, check my YouTube shorts, Instagram or Tiktok. I will add videos soon!

Back to the Grand Lodge. Like every lodge at The Bolder, it is beautifully designed, offers high quality interiors but of course offers way more space than the smaller ones. So if you come alone or as a couple, the smaller lodges might be the better choice. But if you are four or more, than the Grand Lodge is just perfect!
Two bathrooms, two bedrooms (and an optional third), a huge kitchen and dining area, plenty of space in the lounge and you even get a terrace, to sit outside.
But even if you are inside, with the huge all window front, the view is really breathtaking.

So this place is definitely unique in Norway and I can highly recommend!

PS: if you don't want to cook, you can order delicious food packages directly to your lodge. And the food is amazing, I tried ;-)
